London Sound Workshops & Events 2008!

We are holding some really fabulous sound workshops in east London by some of the UK's leading full-time sound healing pioneers and practitioners.

In these sound workshops you can discover Shaman Drum making by Lyz Cooper, the head of BAST. Lyz has a vast wealth of experience with the exploration and application of sound and vibrational healing. On her first London workshop this year, you could be making your own special deer skin Shaman Drum, exploring the techniques of shaman drumming in a group and then taking home your personal shaman drum! You'll also be able to explore your voice with the very wonderful Stefan Cartwright who will create a rich and nourishing environment for first time singers as well as the curious and the comfortable, and with his specially developed Shruti box, Stefan will open up new pathways for you to discover the beauty and uniqueness of your own voice! You can meet Katie Rose who is a gentle and intuitive sound therapist, passionate about working with the gong for self or group healing, for meditation and personal insight. Katie will show you how to approach the gong as if it were the teacher, you'll discover things you never imagined about the gong and afterwards you'll be able to give energising and healing gong baths!

We are also planning to hold London sound workshops on playing the Native American flute and overtone singing, so please come back regularly to check! The workshops are held at the Aboriginal Arts basement gallery, 65b West Ham Lane, Stratford, London, E15 4PH, which is just an eight minute walk from Stratford train station.
